YouTube has added chapters for Easy Video Navigation

YouTube has introduced a new feature called “Chapters” for easy navigation of videos. After receiving positive feedback during testing, YouTube has been offering this feature regularly since May 28. YouTube said that the chapters will be available on desktop as well as Android and iOS. Users will be able to easily navigate to specific parts of the video by clicking on the chapters.

The chapters will be at the bottom of the video player and will show the video description time stamp. The chapters feature is an optional feature. This will only appear when creators add it to their videos. Creators will only be able to add chapters to their videos if the first chapter is at 0:00 and there are at least three time stamps or chapters and each One will last at least ten seconds.

The chapter feature is one of a series of recently featured features on YouTube. A few days ago, YouTube also introduced a feature for bedtime reminder.
