Nathia Gali is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Galyat, located at an altitude of 8200 feet on the road connecting Murree to Abbottabad in Abbottabad District. Its distance from Islamabad is 80 km. The weather here is very pleasant in summer and in this season it looks full of tourists, in the months of July and August it rains almost daily. It is very cold in winter and heavy snowfall in December and January.

This beautiful place of Galyat, as the name suggests, is quite cold and the reason for this is that it is nine thousand feet above sea level. To its east lies the Kunhar River and the Pir Panjal Range of Kashmir. The Kohistan and Kagan mountains are visible in the north and northeast. To the northwest are the snow-capped mountains of Swat and Chitral.

From this high point, the dark green forests on the surrounding heights and slopes offer a wonderful view. These forests are so dense that in most places even sunlight cannot reach the earth. Due to this, white snow remains under the trees and in shady places even in summer season and it can be seen shining from a distance among the dense trees.

This beautiful tourist spot of Galyat is at an altitude of 8200 feet and is considered to be a part of Ayubia National Park, while Nathia Gali is located at a distance of 3 km from here. Ayubia National Park is located 26 km from Murree. The area was named Ayubia after former President Ayub Khan. Ayubia National Park was created by merging four different hill stations Ghoda Gali, Changla Gali, Khaira Gali and Khanspur. In addition to picnic spots, resorts and lush areas, a chairlift is also a major tourist attraction. It was the first recreational activity of its kind in Pakistan, it is a great source of tourism in the region.

The park is home to a variety of birds such as golden eagles, wild pigeons, vultures, etc., while the animals include black bears, wild foxes and rhinos.

is a small town in the province of Punjab and a hill station in Galyat. The place is named after a nearby forest. It is located about 9 km from Murree.
